Job Overview
Mackinac Outfitter is looking for both full-time and part-time Retail Sales Associates to work on the Island's one and only Outfitter for our 2026 Season. As a member of our Retail Team you will be responsible for:
Engaging with customers
Maintaining a well-organized and clean retail space
Greeting customers and providing them with recommendations on products
Unpacking product orders while maintaining accurate inventory records
Completing daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping and dusting
Familiarizing themselves with store inventory and expanding brand knowledge
Replenishing store inventory from backstock
Creating a welcoming and friendly store environment for customers
Having fun!
Sales Associates will also be expected to:
-Maintain their position in the store April-October
Provide required days off in advance of acceptance of employment
Be authorized to work in the United States
Follow the Mackinac Outfitter Employee Code of Conduct
Mackinac Outfitter is willing to work with students attending a college or university program; qualified candidates who can complete the full season (April-October) will receive employment priority.
Retail and/or seasonal employment experience is a plus, but not required. Mackinac Outfitter is open to anyone who has a love for the outdoors, helping people, and doing cool stuff.
